Catherine A. Youngman of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Boston, Mass., passed away on October 1, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 62.
Cathy was a 1972 graduate of Andover High School, a 1976 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, and she received an MBA in 1987 from Wake Forest University. She was the retired VP of Sales and Marketing at US Mills and most recently the office manager at D Michael Collins Architects. Cathy was passionate about golf and loved a competitive match with her companions. She was active in many civic organizations and charity groups.
Cathy was cherished by many friends and family and is survived by her twin sister, Susan Donohue of Pittsburgh, Pa.; brother, Richard of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Newport, R.I.; brother, Thomas of Andover, Mass.; stepmother, Kathleen; three nieces and a nephew.
A memorial service will be held at St Cecilia’s Parrish, Boston, Mass., on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Catherine Youngman be made to the Cancer Research Institute, One Exchange Plaza, 55 Broadway, Suite 1802, New York, NY 10006, or online at www.cancerresearch.org.
