Cynthia's Story

Cynthia M. Thompson, 68, of 44 Plaisted Rd., and formerly of Andover, passed away at home on Friday, November 11, 2016.
She was born Nov. 15, 1947 in Cortland, N.Y., a daughter of the late Gordon F. and Rose (Digate) Mosher.
She was a graduate of Potsdam State University. She leaves her husband of 31 years, Gordon H. Thompson; two sons, Louis Chip Stella of Andover, and Jonathan A. Stella of Carmel, Calif.; two daughters, Carolyn R. Stella and her husband Jeremiah Holt of Berwick, Maine and Hallie H. Thompson and her husband, Thomas Zack Taylor of York, Maine; seven grandchildren, Madalyn, Griffin, Samuel, Charlotte, Cameren, Brady and Mia; a brother Scott Fiorentino and a sister, Suzanne Mosher predeceased her.
Cynthia was an avid tennis player, knitter and water colorist. She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church and loved shopping and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
