Gloria  Mendelsohn


Palm Desert, CA - Gloria, who was born in Haverhill, was the beloved daughter of the late Bernard and Sadye Glagovsky and the devoted niece of the late William Glagovsky.
She and her four sisters grew up in a loving home and wonderful family neighborhood near Walnut Square. She was predeceased by three of her sisters, Charlotte Warshaw, Helen Saltsman, and Barbara Krongaus. She is survived by her sister, Mynda Siskind (Lee) of North Andover.
After attending Colby College, she graduated from Emerson College. Gloria was married to the late Lawrence Mendelsohn. She and her husband moved to California shortly after their two daughters, Anne Rebecca and Audrey were born. Anne Rebecca Cucinella predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter Audrey Broska (Greg) of Palm Springs and her grandson Drew Cucinella (Beca) as well as several nieces and nephews.
She received her MA from UCLA and taught in the Los Angeles school system as a Reading Specialist for 30 years. Gloria was an artist who loved world wide traveling, art creation, visiting museums, reading and classical music. Gloria Mendelsohn was a beautiful woman.
