Lorraine M. (Cox)'s Story

Lorraine M. (Cox) Cronin, 96, of Andover died May 14, 2016, at the Meadows in North Andover, Mass. Lorraine was born in Lawrence, Mass., on March 1, 1920, to the late Hugh J. and Julia (St. Jean) Cox. Lorraine was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School and a Life Member of the American Needlepoint Guild.
Wife of the late Timothy F. Cronin, she is survived by her children, Sheila C. Lowe and husband, Robin of Andover, Elaine C. Martin and husband, C. John of Nantucket, and Timothy F. Cronin Jr. and his companion, Brenda Silva of Erving, Mass.; as well as grandchildren, Holly (Martin) Wall and husband, Stephen, Abageal Martin, Jack Martin and wife, Emily, and Robin Lowe; and two great-granddaughters, Hendrix and Lincoln Wall. Lorraine's family would like to give their gratitude to the very caring and compassionate staff of the Meadows at Edgewood.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church in Andover. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, Mass.
