Margaret A.'s Story

Margaret A. (Denoncourt) Blake, 82, of Andover died October 22, 2016, at the Wingate of Andover.
Mrs. Blake was born at the Lawrence General Hospital on March 6, 1934, to Roland and Clarina (Boucher) Denoncourt of Andover. Margaret attended Andover public schools and graduated from the former Punchard High School in 1952. She also attended Merrimack College and the McIntosh Business School and was a long time employee of the former Arlington Trust Co., in Lawrence, Mass., where she was a loan officer for many years.
Mrs Blake was the widow of Carlton E. Blake, who died in 1997 and is survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and a grandnephew, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brother, William R. Denoncourt, and is survived by her sister-in-law, Constance Denoncourt of Andover.
Family and friends may call on Friday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, Andover, MA 01810. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at St. Augustine Church, Andover. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
