Mary L. (Woiszwillo)'s Story
Mary Louise (Woiszwillo) Moran, 68, of Andover, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at Bayberry Assisted living in Tewksbury.
Mary was born on May 17, 1949 in Brockton, daughter of the late Edmund and Rita M. (McCormick) Woiszwillo. She graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1967 and from Framingham State College in 1971 and later worked in accounting at various firms in Boston. Mary was a long time member of the Village Garden Club in the Ballardvale section of Andover, a volunteer on the 350th year Celebration committee in Andover and a member of the Andover Historical Society.
Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her brother, James E. Woiszwillo. She is survived by her husband, Roger Desmarais of Andover; her son, Gregory Moran of Tewksbury; her brother, Edmond J. Woiszwillo and his wife Celine T. of Bourne, Mass., as well as stepchildren, Julie Tanner and husband, Rick, Jeff Desmarais, Gregory Desmarais and wife, Maura, Matthew Desmarais and grandchildren Andrew, Eric, Maegan, Emma and Ethan Desmarais and Jake and Nora Tanner. Mary is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, Andover, MA 01810. A Memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 27th at the Chapel at West Parish Cemetery, 210 Lowell Street (Rte. 133), Andover, MA 01810 at 11 a.m.
