Trevor Bainbridge, 86, of Andover, currently residing in Salem, NH, died February 9, 2017 at the Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston.
Born in Barnsley, England on October 1, 1930 to the late Horace and Mary Ann (Smith) Bainbridge.
Trevor graduated from the Barnsley Boys High School in England. Furthering his education at London University, he received a Bachelors in Engineering and was a member of the university soccer team. Employed at Signal Communication in Woburn for over 30 years, he retired in 2001. Trevor enjoyed playing soccer and tennis in his earlier years and more recently golfing and spending time with his family. An avid Bruins and Patriots fan, he loved to watch his sports teams.
A loving and devoted husband, proud father and cherished friend to all, Trevor is survived by his wife, Margaret (Hunt) Bainbridge of Andover, currently residing in Salem, NH, a son, Jonathan Bainbridge and his wife Sharon of Middleton, daughters, Elizabeth McNamara and her husband Sean of Londonderry, N.H., Catherine Stanton and her husband Thomas of California and Alison Hinerman and her husband Frank of Florida; grandchildren, Tyler, Camron, Caylin, Shane, Jack, Axel, Frank Jr. and Amelia, a brother, Philip Bainbridge and his wife, Janet of Lexington, and a nephew Christopher Bainbridge.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Church in Andover, Ma on Saturday, February 18th at 11 a.m. A private burial in Christ Church Cemetery will be at a later date.
