DEL RAY BEACH, FL: Annette Rose Cohen, 79, resident of Del Ray Beach, Fla., formerly of Andover, died peacefully in her sleep on December 14, 2014, at the Del Ray Medical Center.
She was born in Malden, Mass. on September 30, 1935, the daughter of the late Irving and Dorothy "Dotsy" Rodman.
Annette received her education at Lowell High School and attended Sargent College. Active in the Jewish community, she was a founding member of Temple Ner Tamid in Peabody, Mass. and past member of the sisterhood there, a lifelong member of Hadassah, a past member of the sisterhood at Temple Emanuel in Andover, and a past member of the Andona Society.
Annette embraced life with love and laughter, passion, compassion, strength and courage. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and devoted friend.
Gloucester, Mass., Fenway Park, Italy and anywhere in the presence of family were among her most cherished places to be.
Annette is survived by her four children, Donna, Dana and his wife Cindy, Gary, Jonathan and his wife, Regina; her seven grandchildren and one great-grandson; her former husband, the Honorable Gerald M. Cohen; and Tommy Zibelli, her life partner and constant companion.
Private graveside services will be held at Pride of Boston Cemetery, Woburn, Mass. A memorial observance will be held at the home of Dana and Cindy Cohen in Andover.
