Frank M.'s Story
Frank M. Pierro, 91, of Andover, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at his home.
Frank was born in Lawrence on October 16, 1924 and was the son of the late Michael and Adele (Bochichio) Pierro.
Frank was a graduate of Lawrence High School and attended Lowell Technical Institute. He was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish.
Early in his career he worked for Frank C. Meyer Company of Lawrence for 20 years. In 1990, he retired from Raytheon Corporation, Andover as a Tool Coordinator.
Frank enjoyed his retirement years with his wife and spending countless hours with their grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be cherished and missed by his family.
He was the husband of the late Claire (Grassi) Pierro who passed away in 2006. They had been married for 53 years. He is survived by a daughter, Patricia Pierro-Lanza of Andover; twin grandchildren, Frank Pierro, III of Arlington, Va. and Christina Pierro of Boston; brothers, Daniel and his wife, Cammy of Methuen and Joseph and his wife, Joan of Salem, N.H.; sister, Margaret Morin of Manchester, N.H.; daughter-in-law, Colleen Pierro-Bayard of Andover, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by his son, Frank Pierro, Jr, son-in-law, Vincent Lanza and brothers-in-law, Etalo Grassi and Robert Morin.
His funeral Mass was celebrated on June 24, 2016 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Andover. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tewksbury.
