Stephen John's Story
Mr. Stephen John Prochniak, 46, of Andover passed away February 18, 2017.
Born in Salem, he was the son of Stephen and Constance (Coulis) Prochniak. He was raised and educated in Andover. He was a graduate of the Pike School of Andover and Andover High School. He continued his education, graduating from UMASS – Lowell, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Mr. Prochniak had been employed as a Senior Software Engineer with Oracle.
A devoted father, son, brother, and uncle, Stephen was a talented musician and guitar player who enjoyed going to concerts and live music shows. He enjoyed playing the game of golf, but above all else, his children and family were paramount. He was a devoted and caring father, who will be deeply missed.
Stephen is survived by his sons, Stephen Charles Prochniak and Alexander Michael Prochniak; his parents, Stephen and Constance (Coulis) Prochniak of Andover; his sisters, Susan Helms and her husband, Ted of Darien, Conn., and Darlene Bohm and her husband, Robert of Shelton, Conn.l his nieces, Victoria and Faith Helms, his nephews, Teddy Helms, and Zach Bohm. He also leaves behind many extended family and dear friends.
His funeral services were held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (Route 62), Danvers, Feb. 24th.
