Salem - Barry D. Grecoe, 90, of Salem, N.H., passed away on Thursday, June 10, at Catholic Medical Center. He and his wife had resided in Bedford, N.H., for the last three years. He was born in St. Johnsbury, Vt., the son of the late Roseanne (Barry) and John Grecoe. Barry graduated from Punchard High School in Andover, Mass., where he played football and gymnastics.

Barry owned and operated Grecoe Jewelers in Andover, Mass., for 62 years. He was also a talented clockmaker. Barry was an avid hunter and reader. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved flying his plane and he was a historian.

Barry will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 50 years, Nancy (Adams) Grecoe of Salem, N.H.; his two children, Barry Grecoe Jr. and wife Diana of Graysville, Pa., and Heather Angers and husband Martin of Epsom, N.H.; his two step-children, David Adams and wife Cindy of Derry, N.H., and Dawn Cote and husband Normand of Bedford, N.H.; his siblings, Julianna Grecoe of Salem, Mass., and Daniel Grecoe of Tewksbury, Mass.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his first wife Carolyn Grecoe; and his two siblings, John and Margaret Grecoe.

Funeral services will be private for the family. Arrangements are under the care of Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH 03079.
