Reading - Charlotte Miriam (Kremer) Artenstein, age 84, a resident of Reading, formerly of Andover, passed away peacefully at Winchester Hospital on Thursday, February 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Richard David Artenstein who passed away in 2015.

She was born in Lowell on December 15, 1941, and was the daughter of the late Abraham and Natalie (Gratt) Kremer.

Charlotte was raised in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell High School with the Class of 1959. She cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

Charlotte is survived by her son, Alan Artenstein and his partner Mike Luyet of W. Newbury; her four grandchildren Jeremy Artenstein and his wife, Lauren, Eli LaCroix, Dylan McNair, and Eden Ingram; her great-granddaughter, Olivia Charlotte; her sister, Rosalyn Sinclair of RI, and her niece Sarah Sinclair.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Margo McNair.

Memorial donations may be made in Charlotte's memory to a charity of your choice.
