Tricia grew up the 3rd of 8 Mee children on Menlo Street in the Brighton section of Boston. She attended St Columbkille's there for both elementary and high school. Tricia then made the long journey about a mile and a half to Boston College where she received her nursing degree in 1970.
From there Tricia began her career as a nurse at St Elizabeth's Hospital back in Brighton. She met her husband Ron at St E's while he was a surgical resident. They were married on September 20th of 1974 moved to Acton, Ma and started their family. After Ron completed his residency he and Tricia moved to Andover, Ma where they would put down roots.
While in Andover, Tricia made her impact felt all over. She was a parish member of St. Augustine's church and was active within St A's elementary school where all four of her children attended. She was involved in community service across the Merrimack Valley especially within Lawrence General Hospital, Holy Family Hospital and Lazarus House. In 1994 she started "Elder Care Coordinators" with her sister, Margaret. Their aim was to help families find solutions for their loved one's geriatric needs. She had a passion for helping others that never waned. After all of their children graduated and were starting their adult lives, Tricia and Ron pulled up stakes and headed west to Prescott, AZ. They met many incredible friends in the high desert, and she adopted a love of pickleball that she partook in any time she could.
Tricia had a spirit that was undeniable and an enthusiasm for life that was impossible not to feel by everyone she met. She was a cheerleader in her youth (Mom was a Pats cheerleader in fact!) and brought that emotion and energy to all aspects of her life. She was a Bostonian through and through and her Pats, Sox, Celts and Bs fandom was plain for everyone to see. She was a woman of incredible, lifelong faith, a faith that was so important to her in these final years.
