Andover - Andover - Rachel Michelle Ferran-O'Boyle has passed at home on November 2, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born on January 10, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Dora and Archibald Ferran of Concord, MA and was one of five sisters. She attended Concord-Carlisle High School and went on to attend Brandeis University. She moved to Andover to raise her family.
She was a lover of gardening, music, arts and education. She was a fighter for many, an ear to listen, and always there with a hug to be given when needed. Rachel was someone who gave it all and fought for what was right no matter the challenge. She taught so many to never give up on themselves, stay strong and true to yourself, and fight for what matters.
Rachel will be remembered as the most caring and loving person to family and others, and the strongest woman in the eyes of her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Kelly O'Boyle and Erin O'Boyle-Webber, her grandchildren, David Webber Jr., Derek Webber; Nathan O'Boyle and Christy O'Boyle.
Private burial services will be held at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Rosie's Place in Boston or the ACLU.
Arrangements are entrusted to Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
