Andover - Viktoria Anna Pomerantz, age 89, of Andover MA, passed away on 11 April 2025 following a heart attack. She was known to her friends as Vici.

Born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, to Rudolf and Käthe Wohlrab, Vici was known for her deep love of her family and home. Vici left Germany in 1957 to start a new life in the United States. She eventually worked in a hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she met her husband George, marrying him in1961. She was a proud homemaker who dedicated herself to creating a beautiful and orderly home. Vici devoted herself to caring for her family and beloved pets, whose lives were richer for her love and attention.

Vici is survived by her daughter, Vered Welsh; her cherished grandchildren, Zoë and Austin Welsh; and her two sisters, Regine Foltyn and Angelika Arnold. She was preceded in death by two of her sisters, Barbara and Christine Wohlrab.

Vici and her sense of humour are deeply missed by his family and friends.

A service in her honor will be held at West Parish Chapel on 11 April, 2026, at 12 noon.
